Delta Apparel Declares Dividend Payment

DULUTH, Ga., Aug 15, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Delta Apparel, Inc. (AMEX:DLA) announced in a meeting held today, its Board of Directors declared a dividend of ten cents per common share of stock.

The dividend is payable September 16, 2002 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on September 3, 2002.
